When you combine these opposing forces, you get steady (but modest) price growth.
Even with mortgage payments remaining relatively steady, there’s a potential silver lining: if household incomes grow or tax rates decrease under future economic policies, homes could become more affordable, drawing even more motivated buyers into the market.
